HAUNTED LOCATIONS

Jerome Grand Hotel - Jerome, Arizona.

If it's a haunted town you are lookig for, with a ghost around every corner, then Jerome is for you. Jerome is a very small community, perched on the side of a mountain. If you go to Jerome, be warned that this is not the only haunted hotel in town. In fact, you can't walk more than a few feet in Jerome without encountering a reputably haunted location. What makes the Jerome Grand Hotel a worthwhile place to stay, is the fact that this is probably one of the most active haunted locations in the world. Formerly, the United Verde Hospital, the hotel now hosts living guests instead of dying patients; however a good many patients who chose not to leave the location in death, will very possibly share a room with you - whether you like it or not. Due to the high level of activity in the hotel, it is a quite popular destination for amateur ghost hunters. If you do decide to visit the hotel, the staff at the front desk will not allow non-guests to roam free, in an effort to protect the privacy of paying guests. If you would like to experience the activity at the hotel, we advise you to be a paying guest. Be respectful to staff and other guests at the hotel. Bad behavior won't be tolerated, and staff rarely talk about the hauntings, wishing to focus conversations on the beauty of the hotel, and the unique community of Jerome. After speaking with an employee, the disdain at some amateur ghosthunters became quite clear. Many people visit the hotel with their children in tow. The problem with this, is that some parents tell their shivering children during check-in, that the hotel is brimming with ghosts, and that they'll probably see one. Some of these kids have a miserable time at the hotel, in sheer terror that they will encounter a ghost. If you take your children, use discretion. If you don't have children, use discretion around other people's children.
